I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween Weekend! The Teal Pumpkin Project has certainly picked up momentum over the past two years, which is a great thing for youth (or youth at heart) with food allergens or other restrictive diets. You can’t scroll a mouse without seeing some great teal pumpkins, which have even been featured in major news outlets online and in print, and I wanted to highlight some of these awesome projects in hopes of giving some inspiration for future years. Here are the submissions I received when I asked people to send me their Teal Pumpkin Project photos, along with a few tips on decorating:

The Teal Pumpkin Project is a great way to get kids involved in pumpkin decorating for a good cause.

If you have a window near your door consider keeping the pumpkin inside, and including a sign for added visibility.

A full display is a great idea if you want to take the teal pumpkin project a little further, especially at some sort of structured trick-or-treating event like in a housing complex or church.

I love this traditional take on the Teal Pumpkin Project, I used a trick-or-treating bucket like this for most of my childhood!

Attention to detail (sparkled stems, and dotted grooves for example) looks gorgeous on a teal pumpkin!
