One of the trends in my New York town lately has been Sea Salt and Caramel. From chews, to coffees to everything in between, its the new fad, with due cause because it is a delicious mix. The new Gluten Free Soft-Baked Salted Caramel Cashew cookies from Udi’s take this combination to the next level.
Gooey and soft, these cookies mix the combination of salt and caramel with cashew. Therefore, every bite is layered with a bit of sweetness, a bit of nuttiness, and a bit of saltiness. I’ll admit, this combination is definitely an acquired taste and it took a cookie or two for me to get used to it (this was the same case for Sea Salt and Chocolate Caramel Bites). Once I got into it though I loved these. They’re unique and flavorful, and a perfect treat with a nice cup of tea!
