Trader Joe’s has been a great resource of new/newer gluten free products lately, and these Gluten Free Chocolate Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting were hands down the best find. Moist and creamy, these cupcakes were, to put it bluntly, absolutely amazing. I loved them, and felt that they were the perfect balance of bitter chocolate and sweet buttercream. Mike however felt they were too sweet. Either way, we both agreed that contrary to other gluten free cake products you cannot even tell they are gluten free.
The only downside? There just might be a tad bit too much frosting, and it sticks to the top of the container. But really, who has ever complained about too much frosting?
