Gluten-Free Awareness Tour Returns to Detroit

DETROIT- The Gluten-Free Awareness Tour stops at the DoubleTree Hotel in Detroit, Michigan for two days on September 7-8 from 9 am to 3 pm.

“This is the fourth year in a row we are stopping in Detroit,” says Kish Williamson, Operations Manager for the Gluten-Free Awareness Tour.  “This year’s event is at the DoubleTree Hotel at 5801 Southfield Expressway, Dearborn, Michigan.  If you thought last year’s show was great, this year’s event is going to be even better.  Don’t miss out on all the fun!” 

Attendees will hear presentations from celiac disease experts, sample dozens of gluten-free food and beverage products and watch live chef demonstrations on the main stage.

Gluten-free food and beverage exhibitors represent some of the best gluten-free manufacturers in the country including, Estrella Damm Daura, Joy Cone Company, Massel USA, Ivy’s Garden Food, Inc., Namaste Foods and Mrs. Glee’s Gluten-Free Foods. 

In 2012, over 100 gluten-free food and beverage manufacturers exhibited their products and thousands of shoppers attended Gluten-Free Awareness Tour events in cities throughout the Midwest including, Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh as well as Houston, San Francisco and San Diego. 

The ‘Tour’s’ Detroit stop is presented by Kroger’s and sponsored by Enjoy Life, Massel USA, Nature’s Path and Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery.
