The gluten free blogging community is an amazing one to be a part of, the energy and passion simply radiate through those keyboards and photos like nobody’s business. Of those many bloggers a few stand out to me and keep me motivated, emotional, and eager to read more. They’re probably some of the reason I have a terrible sleep schedule… Here are my top five, in no particular order:
1. Gluten Free Girl: Shauna was one of the first names in the gluten free blogging community, and the first writer in the communty who’s work I came in contact with. She has an amazing way of painting a picture before your eyes with her words, and she’s also incredibly open and honest about the ups and downs of a gluten free life (and life in general). She’s also a great writer, so you should certainly check out her books and cookbooks.
2. Gluten Hates Me: Marlow is another one of those bloggers who says it like it is. In addition to sharing some great but doable recipes she also muses about fitness, running, daily living, gluten free products and being a new mother. It’s great to have followed her growth over the few years I’ve been reading her work. And as a bonus she’s also the blogger that started the Gluten Free Blogger Secret Santa, which is a fantastic way to meet new bloggers.
3. Gluten Dude: Gluten dude is fabulious, and not only because he’s one of the only men to give their side of the story to gluten free living. He keeps the community informed about the hot button issues in the Celiac Disease and gluten free community, and deals with the backlash with humor. One of my favorite segments on his blog is Celiac Rants, where he gives his followers a chance to vent and opens up a forum to discuss their frustrations.
4. Celiac and the Beast: Erica is certainly one of the powerhouses in the gluten free blogging community, and she has a great wit about her to boot. Her humor, sass, and all around awesomeness really makes her blog a fun one to keep track of. She’s not one to sugar coat anything, which I personally love. Further, her book of the same name is equally as lovable. She’s also got a great skill with working with companies at a higher level than some of the other bloggers, which makes room for some great early release reviews and fun giveaways!
5. Gluten Free Globe Trotter: Erin is one of my local favorites, and she truly shows that traveling gluten free is 100% possible and fun! She grew up gluten free, having been diagnosed with Celiac Disease during childhood, so I think that gives her a somewhat brighter outlook that makes her work incredibly inviting. I love living vicariously through her as she travels the world and the country, sharing all she can about gluten free travel. Locally she and I have crossed paths at some gluten free gatherings, and I only wish we did so more.

Great crew. Thanks tons for the shout out.
You are welcome! Thanks for being a great advocate for the community.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I am so happy to be included in this list. We should try to purposely cross paths soon and make a gluten-free date! Great new website.
Erin, you are most welcome! We should try to meet up!
