To kick off my new website and Celiac Disease Awareness Month I have some big things in store. This Month’s theme is five: Five Years Gluten Free and Five Year Blogging. To celebrate this month you can expect:
1. Five Fun and Informative Posts: This months theme is Five: Five years gluten free and five years blogging. Each Saturday I’ll be sharing a Top 5 post highlighting some of my favorite and/or most amusing things about living gluten free. I’m not giving away the topics yet, but let me just say you might be in store for a very special guest post in addition to a new found love of your friends.
2. Flash Giveaways: You’ll see a number of flash giveways (i.e.: Giveaways with a short entry time) shared by me throughout the month. Note: These may not be on the website itself but rather may incoporate my Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter so be sure to be following me on all three. You can find me on those three sites at:
Instagram: @CelticCeliac
Facebook: www.facebook.com/CelticCeliac
Twitter: @CelticCeliac
3. Major Giveaways: I’ll be hosting at least one major giveaway this month, featuring some of my current favorite gluten free goodies. I’ll get this up on the site ASAP. In addition, if the timing works out, I may also have another giveaway to share but more details will come on that later.
Now that I’ve explained how I plan to celebrate, and help you celebrate, Celiac Disease Awareness month I’d like to know: What will you be doing to celebrate? Will you be hosting a potluck? Speaking to your family about their risk of celiac disease? Please share!
I’ve had celiacs for a year n a half! N omg it’s hard! But I’m glad to find ppl who also have it FB. So it’s easy to tlk bout it. I have an aunt who also has it but lives in TN! So it’s hard to tlk to her.
Kristen, thanks for sharing your experience. The first year or so was the hardest for me, but it does get easier and speaking to people through social media certainly helps. I hope you’ll find my website helpful, there are plenty of recipes and product reviews that you might find helpful.
